Practical Care Supports

FOOD FOR COMFORT

Are you (or is someone you know) finding it difficult to keep up because of a new addition to the family, illness, hospitalization, or disorienting season of life? We have a group of volunteers who would love to help take some of the pressure off by providing a delicious and nutritious hot meal.

Please contact Kari at 306-477-1234 ext. 133 for more information.

*If you enjoy cooking and are interested in joining our team of volunteers, please contact Kari Elliott @ 306-477-1234 ext 133.
**We are also happy to receive freezer meals to make sure we can meet needs even when volunteers aren’t immediately available.
Please contact Kari if you would like to contribute meals, snacks, or bread to the freezer.
FOOD PANTRY

We attempt to provide temporary staple food supports to enhance existing food security agencies in Saskatoon wherever possible. If you would like to contribute specific items to our bags please contact Kari at ext. 133 for up to date information on what our needs are and to arrange a drop-off time.
CARE FUND

Emmanuel’s Care Fund fund helps to provide a variety of confidential emergency supports to those in need throughout the year. Donations can be made year round by designating “Care Fund” on your offering envelope or by contacting our bookkeeper at ext. 126.
CHRISTMAS GIFT BAGS

Each year our community is asked to consider filling gift bags with much needed items for designated local support agencies around Saskatoon.

Last year’s Christmas Gift Bags went to The Bridge on 20th, Hope Restored Canada, and to Saskatoon Pregnancy Options Centre.

Bags are typically available near the end of November and must be returned by a the date set out by our Care Ministry in order to distribute them before Christmas.
ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY NEEDS

While we’re all still living with the additional considerations of the COVID-19 pandemic, many agencies in the city have increased needs that we’d like to help with where we can. Please check back here for specific needs as we post them.
